Cozy Nook under the Wisteria

I love cozy little nooks….for having a cup of tea, reading a book, enjoying brunch with my husband. This year there was a ‘perfect storm’ when our wisteria and azaleas burst forth in unison so I just had to set a table nestled beside our bird fountain, complete with bunnies.

White Wisteria and Lace

White Wisteria and Lace

My inspiration started with our amazing white wisteria in full bloom, beautifully fragrant with cascading flower clusters draping over our hydrangeas & azaleas.Wisteria

Next I chose vintage dishes in soft blue and rose colored flowers to match the napkins & azaleas.  Most vintage dishes have pastel colors and would look lovely on this soft baby blue damask tablecloth as well as a lace one.plate

See how the fresh new green growth of the hydrangea leaves and the deep pink azalea blooms frame the pastel table setting…

Try a baby blue tablecloth, vintage china and deep pink roses on your next table setting
